# AI3D API v2 model: tripo-edit-multiview

Apply per-view image edits to an existing multiview set with Tripo. Each prompt names one view (`front`, `left`, `back`, or `right`); changes are applied consistently across the set.

- Source: provide exactly one of a public HTTPS `image_url` for a multiview image or `source_job_id` for your own completed `tripo-image-to-multiview` / `tripo-edit-multiview` job.
- Pricing: 5 Tripo credits per edited view (up to four distinct views); AI3D prices 100 Tripo credits at $1.00 and settles from provider-reported usage.

`prompts` must contain one to four items, each with only `prompt` and `view`; each prompt must be non-empty and a view can appear once. The overall `input` object follows the standard 16 KiB limit. For a local source image, use `POST /v2/uploads` and pass the returned `image_url`.

AI3D returns `202 Accepted`; poll `GET /v2/jobs/{job_id}` until terminal. On success, the archived edited directional images appear in `artifacts`. When publicly viewable, `viewer_url` opens Viewern with the image grid and virtual camera-frustum preview. Use the same idempotency key when safely retrying a timed-out create request. Reconcile a `submission_unknown` job before resubmitting because Tripo may already have accepted it.
